The Regional Director Program
The Regional Director Program is a prestigious fellowship leadership track within the Global Youth Sustainability and Impact Leaders (GYSIL) program under the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research (IPPDR). It is designed for exceptional GYSIL graduates who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication to peacebuilding, and a commitment to empowering other youth in their region.
Purpose of the Program
The Regional Director Fellowship is not a general appointment—it is a next-level opportunity for GYSIL alumni to:
"Youth has no age."
Eligibility Requirement
Only graduates of the GYSIL program who have completed all training modules and demonstrated successful leadership project execution are eligible to be appointed as Regional Directors.
Responsibilities
Represent Your Country
Promote the GYSIL vision and engage youth leaders across your region.
Lead Youth Engagement
Identify, mentor, and empower emerging changemakers within your country.
Promote GYSIL Initiatives
Facilitate national campaigns, community projects, and sustainability initiatives aligned with GYSIL goals.
Build Partnerships
Work with educational institutions, NGOs, and community organizations to amplify youth leadership.
Coordinate National Activities
Organize local dialogues, workshops, and programs that foster sustainable development and youth advocacy.
Report and Communicate
Submit regular updates on your country's activities, progress, and youth-led initiatives.
Advocate for Youth Policies
Support initiatives tied to the UN SDGs, human rights, peace, and social innovation.
Participate in Global Forums
Represent your country in GYSIL regional and international meetings, both virtually and (when possible) in person.
